Ebony Jones

Ebony Jones is the Director of Human Resources at Elk Hill.  She joined the leadership team in 2018.

She has worked for more than 15 years in various human resources capacities. Earlier in her career, she was promoted as a branch manager for CORESTAFF Services (a national staffing agency) and was honored with a national award for relationship management.  She has worked in both the compensation and benefit sections for the Virginia Department of Corrections.

Jones was also honored as the first support staff member to earn “Employee of the Year” at United Methodist Family Services (UMFS) and has worked at Intercept Youth Services as a Director of Human Resources managing all aspects of a busy mid-sized human resources department.

She is a certified active member of the Society of Human Resource Management and is also certified by the HR Certification Institute. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations and a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Adult Education and Human Resource Development, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.

When she is not working, she can be found cheering her four children on at various events and spending time with her supportive family and friends.
