Three generations of the Fleischman family have made a lasting impact at Elk Hill

We were absolutely thrilled and filled with immense joy to honor the remarkable Ms. Jinny Fleischman, a former long-standing and beloved staff member of Elk Hill, with the dedication of a special tree in her name.

Jinny Fleischman on Elk Hill's first ropes course

Jinny devoted many years of her life and countless hours of hard work to the children in our care, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Among her numerous contributions, she helped create our inaugural challenge course, a project that highlighted both her creativity and her profound understanding of the needs and dreams of the children we support. Jinny's commitment to this project was nothing short of extraordinary; she bravely climbed trees, demonstrating both courage and skill, as she meticulously installed the hardware by hand. This process often required her to hang from ropes, suspended high above the ground, all to ensure that the course was safe and enjoyable for the children. Her efforts resulted in a challenge course that has brought joy, excitement, and a sense of accomplishment to countless children over the years, providing them with opportunities to grow, learn, and push their limits in a supportive environment.

During the ceremony, we were especially grateful to have Jinny’s family in attendance, joining us in celebrating her incredible legacy and the profound impact she had on our organization and the lives of so many young individuals. As we gathered to commemorate her contributions, it became clear that Jinny’s impact on our organization will never be forgotten; her spirit and dedication will continue to inspire future generations. The tree we dedicated will serve not only as a symbol of her legacy but also as a reminder of the joy and resilience she instilled in all of us.
